The title of this website, Journey Magic, is a handle my mom used on both Twitter and Instagram. The rotating tagline @ Home page is from her Instagram bio.
I’ve published this site to honor my mom’s memory following her ascension to the astral plane at 5:33am on Sunday May 4, 2025. The Star Wars reference (May the 4th be with you) does not escape me... and come to think of it, I might argue she was a combination of Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, and Princess Leia all rolled into one. I’ve bookmarked this for future consideration; she would love the association with Harrison Ford.
As to the business at hand, my assumption is that all who visit and interact with this virtual space have come to do so out of a shared sense of love for Veronica (a.k.a. Oni to family) who I will be missing intensely — and continuing to get to know — for the rest of my life.

I consider surveillance capitalism and all of its discontents and internet/online creepiness to be a blight on our tech-infused lives. As such, and as concerns your privacy, there’s nothing going on here that doesn’t meet the eye.
Permissions for published remembrances have been granted through the interface where that content has been submitted, and all protections indicated there have been and will continue in perpetuity to be honored.
